Firearms in GW
Hi, I am from Sardalec and I just wanna know what's the problem bout, GW having Firearms.
If they have Robots why not Firearms?, I am talking about the Firearms in the olden Times, with Firearms like in Granado Espada.
If we have G.O.L.E.Ms why no Firearms?
And this is not a Suggestion, I am just asking what's the prob.

GW does have firearms, they're just in the form of wands/staves. Wands are handguns, staves are rifles. So yeah, there you go.

But pray tell, what purpose would firearms serve?

Fire your musket at target. This skill fails if musket isn't loaded.
Reload Musket 10/30/5 (note the 30 second activation time)
Reload your musket. This skill is easily interrupted.

What's the prob? I don't know, why don't you email anet and ask them? The setting and background in GE is very different to GW. You can't really compare the 2 games.

Although I generally love RPGs that let you use guns (more specifically, pistols) as your main weapon, I don't think it'd really fit into the world of GW. GOLEMs are not robots. They are basically what their acronym implies: golems (ie a magically animated hulking creature. Not to be confused with the little shrimpy guy who has a fetish for golden circular objects). Tyria just doesn't seem like the place to have guns.

Thanks, I understand now^^!
Cause I posted somethin for weapons.
Like Rangers can use Ranged Weapons, which goes with (Guns, Bows, Crossbows and etc).
Or like Sins can use Light Weapons,(Gauntlets, Daggers, Claws and etc).
No difference in effects but these are just extra skins for those gun and etc lovers^^.
But GW is Fictional, doesn't need to have 1 type of Timeline^^.
And anyway, even if it's based on the Dark Ages, 200 years is a long time^^.
And they can just fasten up the process.
Sorry, I didn't say I was basing it on GW2^^.

Oh, yeah it's ture people kill people.
Weapons are just instruments of killing like playing a flute, people play music not flutes play music^^.
People are just the indirect cause, but without them weapons can't kill nor operate^^.

I was disappointed to see seige turtles with the cannons strapped to their shells. Muskets and blunderbusses would just make it worse.
